Dr. Karen K. L. HUI
Dr Karen qualified from the National Taiwan University in 2009. Since graduation, inspired by her desire to provide her patients with the best possible care, she has achieved a range of post graduate qualifications. Karen obtained a certificate in the discipline of Ophthalmology from the University of Sydney, in 2011. She studied Traditional Chinese Medicine with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) and became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist in 2013. In 2017 she completed a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCertSc), and is currently pursuing her Master degree in Veterinary Medicine at Massey University, New Zealand.
Despite her busy work and study schedule, Karen has volunteered for local and overseas animal welfare organizations, including SPCA Hong Kong and PhaNgan Animal Care for Strays (PACS) in Thailand, helping to spay, neuter, and provide medical care for homeless animals. In her leisure time, she enjoys travelling, camping, scuba diving and spending time with family and friends.
